Vector Services

Step 1: Click the Vector Services widget on the GBDX toolbar to activate the tool.

Step 2: The Vector Services window will appear. Once ready click the Select Area button.

Step 3: Draw the desired AOI by left-click-drag on the map to make a rectangle.

Vector Services AOI will be outlined in Green. As soon as the AOI is drawn, a query is sent and the vector sources within the AOI are returned.

Step 4: Toggle the desired vector types for export.

To narrow available vector types, toggle desired data sources and geometries. Once the desired vector types are selected, click Export and select directory for download. A progress bar will indicate when the download is complete, at this time you have to manually add the vector to the map from the selected download directory.

Note: All vectors per export are downloaded to a JSON file named either "points", "polygon", or "line" based on the vectors' geometry. For example, if two polygon vectors and a point vector are exported then the result would be "polygon.json" containing both polygon vectors and "point.json" containing the point vector.

By default all data sources, geometries, and types are selected. The amount of vectors selected for export must be within the value entered for Max Items to Return in the settings.
